Is there a fruit more classic than the apple? No way! Apples are a staple and oh so good for you, and while this one may not keep the doctor away it will sit prettily in whichever room you choose to put it. This green apple is made of clay and fired in my kiln, so they will last forever and a day - please don't try and eat it!

This apple was a part of my recent body of work called 'Persephone's Table' which referenced the Greek myth of Persephone - Goddess of Spring and the Underworld. I created a table-scape that featured the food of the Gods and referenced historical sources to discover the foods of Ancient Greece.
