Nudibranchs (or nudis) are marvellous little sea creatures! Their name translates to mean ‘naked gills’ and they are commonly referred to as ‘sea slugs’ which is fitting as they are shell-less, soft-bodied marine molluscs. Nudibranchs, though very small, are some of the most flamboyant creatures in the sea. They come in a variety of shapes, sizes, colours and patterns and some of them are altogether fabulous!

This is a ceramic nudibranch crafted in my small home studio. It has been glazed and fired and has a beautiful glossy finish. I love making these fantastic creatures and each one is totally unique. I hope it brings a little bit of nudi joy to your world!
